Type 2 Diabetes Obesity Research Study

This study hopes to help those with type 2 diabetes who are overweight or have obesity by investigating the study treatment’s effectiveness at weight management

What is the trial about?

According to the UK Government, around 90% of adults with Type 2 Diabetes are considered to be overweight or have obesity. Obesity can lead to numerous health issues in the future and for people with Type 2 Diabetes, the management of weight loss can be particularly important. This study hopes to help those people.

Who can participate in the trial?

This study is open to anyone over the age of 18 who:

- Has a BMI of 27 or over

- Has a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes

Other inclusion / exclusion criteria will apply and this will be discussed with you by one of our research team over the phone.

What is the study process?

Your participation in this study will last for just under 2 years and will involve receiving the study treatment, or a placebo, once a week throughout the study.

Your participation will also involve regular visits to our clinic throughout the course of the study

What can you expect as compensation?

You will receive compensation for your study related time and activities, such as visits to our clinic.
