MOVE-LP(a) Study

MOVE-Lp(a) is a clinical research study focused on Lipoprotein(a)

What is the trial about?

The MOVE-Lp(a) study will test if an investigational medicine safely lowers Lp(a) levels and reduces the risk of heart disease or stroke.

Lipoprotein(a) is also known as Lp(a). Lp(a) is an important risk factor for heart disease and is largely determined by your genes.

Lp(a) carries cholesterol (a type of fat) in the blood. If you have a high level of Lp(a), you may have a higher risk for heart disease or stroke.

You may have a high level of Lp(a) even if you have a healthy lifestyle or are taking other medicine for your cholesterol

It provides cutting-edge medical care under professional supervision and empowers individuals to contribute to the well-being of society. However, participants should carefully weigh up the risks and benefits and seek advice from their doctor before taking part in a trial.
