Cholesterol Clinical Trials

These clinical trials are looking for patients who may be living with high cholesterol / an unhealthy balance of cholesterol

What is the trial about?

It’s estimated that approximately half of all adults in the UK are currently living with high cholesterol levels. That’s around 30 million people in the UK who are more at risk of experiencing an event like a heart attack or stroke.

That’s why research into new and ongoing treatments for high cholesterol or for dealing with an unhealthy balance of cholesterol (Dyslipidaemia) is so important. A lot of people are even unaware they are living with high cholesterol as it does not normally have any symptoms and is only discovered through routine blood tests or following a health event.

We’re looking for participants who are living with high cholesterol or dyslipidaemia to register their interest in our cholesterol focused clinical trials. Interested in finding out more? Please leave your contact details at the form on this page and one of our team at your nearest clinic will get in touch with you to explain more about these clinical trials and how you can participate.

FAQs

How can trial participation help me and others?

Participation in clinical trials provides access to innovative and potentially life-saving treatments. It also contributes to medical research, benefiting both current and future healthcare outcomes. It provides cutting-edge medical care under professional supervision and empowers individuals to contribute to the well-being of society. However, participants should carefully weigh up the risks and benefits and seek advice from their doctor before taking part in a trial.
